Since February 2004, we have automatically sent our customers e-mail notification of that their printed circuit boards have been shipped. The following data are transmitted:
Name of the customer clerk The customer order number The customer printed circuit board description The customer drawing number (if known) The customer material/ID number (if known) The quantity of printed circuit boards delivered Date and time of shipment The UPS control number
Our customers can go online (www.ups.com) and, with their UPS control number, obtain the status of the shipment.
These data are generated from our own plant PPS system and are automatically sent once the ‘package and ship’ operation has been completed.
