New ATG A5 finger tester (Flying Probe) improves delivery performance and creates additional testing opportunities
We have been using the new ATG Flying Probe Tester A5 since autumn 2006. Compared with the previous model, the A3, which has been a reliable tool for us for several years, the A5 offers a multitude of benefits for our customers:

Inductivity measurable between 2 points (range: 0.2 µH-5000 µH)
Characteristics of printed spools can be defined and monitored.
Capacitance measurable between 2 points (range: 0.1 pF-100 µF)
High-frequency characteristics on the circuit board can be measured subject to definitions.

Test finger precision: +/- 20µm
Smallest test point: 50µm
Min. distance between test points: 100µm
Repetitive accuracy: +/- 10µm
Even the finest structures are not electrically testable.
